Narrated Al-Qasim bin Muhammad: Once `Aisha became sick and Ibn `Abbas went to see her and said, O mother of the believers! You are leaving for truthful fore-runners i.e. for Allah's Apostle and Abu Bakr.

حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَجِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنْ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ اشْتَكَتْ فَجَاءَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ ، فَقَالَ : يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ تَقْدَمِينَ عَلَى فَرَطِ صِدْقٍ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ .

محمد بن بشار نے مجھ سے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے عبدالوہاب بن عبدالمجید نے بیان کیا، ہم سے ابن عون نے بیان کیا، ان سے قاسم بن محمد نے کہ   عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا بیمار پڑیں تو ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما عیادت کے لیے آئے اور عرض کیا: ام المؤمنین! آپ تو سچے جانے والے کے پاس جا رہی ہیں، یعنی رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور ابوبکر کے پاس ( عالم برزخ میں ان سے ملاقات مراد تھی ) ۔
