Narrated `Aisha: Allah's Apostle said, If I had formerly known what I came to know recently, I would not have driven the Hadi with me and would have finished the state of Ihram along with the people when they finished it.

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي عُرْوَةُ ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : لَوِ اسْتَقْبَلْتُ مِنْ أَمْرِي مَا اسْتَدْبَرْتُ مَا سُقْتُ الْهَدْيَ وَلَحَلَلْتُ مَعَ النَّاسِ حِينَ حَلُّوا .

ہم سے یحییٰ بن بکیر نے بیان کیا، کہا ہم سے لیث بن سعد نے بیان کیا، ان سے عقیل نے، ان سے ابن شہاب نے، ان سے عروہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ( حجتہ الوداع کے موقع پر ) فرمایا ”اگر مجھ کو اپنا حال پہلے سے معلوم ہوتا جو بعد کو معلوم ہوا تو میں اپنے ساتھ قربانی کا جانور نہ لاتا اور عمرہ کر کے دوسرے لوگوں کی طرح بھی احرام کھول ڈالتا۔“
