Biscuit Crumbs

As the name states, they are coarsely or finely textured powder derived from biscuits. It finds use specifically in the bakery section. It is not commonly available and thus is usually prepared at home. Usually digestive biscuits are used to prepare the crumbs. Around 7 to 8 biscuits would be required to make 1 cup of crumbs. To make biscuit crumbs at home, just grind in a mixer or crush between two sheets of waxing paper using a rolling pin. As an alternative to biscuit crumbs, grahams cracker crumbs may be used as an alternative.
